Exposé / COP21
Message de loujuh posté le 30-10-2015 à 18:13:46 (S | E | F)
Bonjour,
j'ai un exposé à faire pour le 2 novembre sur la COP21; je l'ai fait mais pourriez-vous corriger mes erreurs et ou me donner des conseils s'il vous plait? Merci d'avance.

France will host the 21st Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change of 2015, also called "Paris 2015" from November 30 to December 11, 2015.
This is a crucial deadline, because it must lead to a new international climate agreement applicable to all countries.
It is also seen as the last chance to put the world on track to meet scientific advice on carbon reductions and avoid dangerous levels of climate change.

France will therefore play a leading role international because they will have to facilitate discussion between the developped countries and the developping countries, which occupies an important place in the climate negotiations.
The world's leaders, scientists, pressure groups from 195 countries and United Nations agencies will attend to this conference.
The conference expected to be the largest international conference ever held in the country.
It is estimated that the conference will attract around 50,000 participants

The principal issue is to keep global warming below 2 ° C. For that the most polluters countries which are China, EU and United States need to limit their greenhouse gas emissions.
They will have to reduce their emission from 70% to 40% for 2050. All this countries have to start thinking about a new model of consumption, daily life.
The United States promise a reduction from 28 % by 2025 compared to their 2005 level.
The EU will cut its emissions by 40%, compared with 1990 levels, by 2030
Whereas China had only pledged to reduce the growth of her emissions

Another key objective of the COP21 is the mobilisation of $100 billion per year by developed countries. Developing countries form a crucial bloc in the talks because an agreement can only be formalised by a consensus of all 196 governments. Developed countries should help developing countries to adapt to the impacts of climate change and reduce their emissions.
If those nations can’t reach an agreement, there will have many consecuencies in the future.
with the current degree of pollution, the global warming will be of approxatly 5°C.

The impact of global warming and climate change is already being felt across the planet for example, forest fires and droughts are becoming more frequent in southern and central Europe
If the countries don’t succeed in preventing global warming from exceeding 2°C by the end of the century we’ll see many more droughts, floods, melting glaciers and the disappearance of more and more farm land. The scientists also predicted that sea level rise would force more than 600 million peoples to find new homes. So climate change will also be a factor in increasing the migration problem

The stake is high because Cop21 is seen as the last chance. If the agreement doesn’t limit warming to 2 degree, there won’t be other opportunities to do so and the consequences of a warming of 4 or 5 degree it will be dramatic.
