A place visited by many people (especially for holidays). ..... Resort.
To prevent a fire from burning by covering it thickly. ..... To Smother.
A long walk, usually in the countryside, taken for pleasure. ..... Ramble.
To hurt with hot liquid or steam. ..... To Scald.
A type of apparatus used to heat a room. ..... Radiator.
A synonym of "to jump". ..... To Hop.
A part of some plants, insects etc for instance, nettles and wasps, that can prick and inject an irritating or poisonous fluid into the wound. ..... Sting.
