Merci bien
I have learned that a nonprofit group is offering an altenative to full copyright and a new cd puts their experimental license to the test.
People are not only likely to end up copying , remixing and swapping it online , they are actively encouraged to do so.
A new intellectual property scheme called "Creative Commons" was created , it ' s a license that allows the artist to stipulate exactly how much freedom a fan has with a given song.
By taking the rights of their tunes into their own hands , musicians can now draw a distinction between " all rights reserved " and " some rights reserved" . Music is only the beginning , they want to apply that on cinema and books.
My opinion :
I find it ' s a good initiative.
I think the compilation is both a legal experiment and the opening salvo in a war against the music industry ' s zero- tolerance policy on file sharing.
The basic aim of Creative Commons is a good thing , is to get the law out of the way not by abolishing copyright , but by making it easier for people to negociate it in a digital world.
Download music online can listen more sort of music i think.
For example we can dowload : pop music , classical music .... Sort of music that we not will pay for buy a cd.
I'm for that sort of initiative , because , if the initiative is a succes , the artists and theirs fans will come out winners.
I have choose this text because I'm interesting by the subject.
It ' s a subject of actuality.
