Hello tout le monde!
Alors voilà, j'ai écris une petite présentation sur moi et mon école et je voulais savoir si c'était juste. (Si j'ai utilisé les bonnes expressions...)
D'avance je vous remercie pour votre aide.
I am originally from the east part of France, from a little town called xxxx. It’s between xxx and xxx. It’s two beautiful city, you eat sauerkraut with meat in xxx and there is a lot of activity in xxx. I have a brother and a sister who they work both.
I am energetic, I make a lot of sport as tennis and football. I am also Persevering and assiduous, when I have a problem I don’t (je ne laisse pas tomber) …. , I guard hope. I am not very experienced in
Actually, I live in xxx in a bedsitter to study in the UTBM. UTBM is a university with scientific, cultural and professional objectives. It was created in 1999 by two university, we can follow four engineering courses and two master. About 400 engineers are trained every year and there are more than 2000 students in this university. The program takes five years for people who come from a bachelor's degree and 3 years for high school students. Moreover, UTBM is open to the world, you can go to another country to study or go training.
The lecturers are very nice. I have the choice this university because I was very interested to follow the GESC (Electrical and Control System Engineering) department. Furthermore (par ailleurs) a lot of people say that we can make a good formation.

-- Petit réarrangement -> "I come from a little town in the east of France called XXX. It is between two beautiful cities: XXX and XXX. You eat.........". Cette façon de regrouper coule plus facilement.
-- “It's”...? Tu voulais dire: “these”, je pense. Tu vois l'erreur?
-- Attention aussi au pluriel du mot “city”--> “ies”
-- a lot of .... donc, activity ne devrait pas être au singulier. (y--> devient ies)
-- ...a brother and a sister who they work both: aucune raison de mettre “they” après 'who”.
-- both: doit se placer avant le verbe.
-- energetic / full of energy
-- Non, faire du sport --> pas le verbe “to make” On dit to do a lot of sport.
-- as tennis... attention à la différence entre as et like.
On dit aussi: to play football and tennis.
-- Pourquoi une majuscule au mot “persevering”???
-- laisser tomber, abandonner = to give up
-- garder espoir. Ici, garder = to keep (le verbe to guard a le sens de “protéger” et ne convient pas dans le contexte).
-- I am not very experienced in --> ??? phrase pas finie?
-- “actually” = en fait, vraiment. Si tu veux dire: En ce moment, c'est: “At the moment”
-- bedsitter --> peut se dire simplement “bedsit”
-- au lieu de “to study”.....”, tu pourrais dire, because I am a student at the UTBM in XXX
-- objectives: on dirait plutôt -> orientations
-- by two university --> pluriel, donc “y” devient “ies” - Mets ensuite un point (pas une virgule)
-- two master (pluriel, donc.....)
-- 400 et 2000 (ce ne serait pas une mauvaise idée d'écrire ces chiffres). Revois la règle concernant “hundred” et “thousand”.
-- Confusion avec “come from” (verbe mal choisi) et “bachelor's degree” (tu parles du Baccalauréat??? ou....) Explique -moi exactement ce que tu veux dire (par message privé) et on verra.
-- you can go to another country “to do part of your studies” or to get some training.
-- nice / ici, tu pourrais dire-> “friendly”
-- I have the choice this university--> Tu veux dire: J'ai choisi cette université, et pas : J'ai le choix cette université, donc, utilise le verbe choisir = to choose (verbe irrégulier). Il te suffit de bien le conjuguer.
-- very interested “in followING” (on dit: to be interested in + Ving)
-- following “the........... course” , pas “the department” --- ou mieux--> tu pourrais plutôt dire: "following the course organised by the Electrical and Control S... E... Department".
-- (a lot of people say that the formation and training we) receive in that department is excellent!
