Bonjour ! J'ai tenté une traduction de cet article du Figaro : Lien Internet

Pouvez-vous me dire où sont mes erreurs ? Merci d'avance :

French people want to understand economy

Three quarters of French people deem that economic information is “neither accessible nor understandable”.

French people – particularly the youth – are convinced that they would understand the current world better and would succeed better in life if they could understand economy better. This is the conclusion of a survey TNS Sofres published on Wednesday for the Council for the broadcast of economic culture (Codice) in preparation for the days of economy that will take place next week in Lyons.

About 65% of French people think they are ill-informed about changes that are occurring in French economic life. This assertion is also true concerning the current financial crisis, state intervention or even the situation of banks. Around three quarters of French people (73%) consider that economic information is “neither accessible nor understandable”.

In order to fill in this gap, French people are notably asking for more pedagogy to the media : 92% of the media should be written in a simpler language. They also want better information about the subjects which affect them personally such as the purchasing power (39%), social protection (34%), debt (32%) or unemployment (26%).

More than 80% of French people also think it would be good to initiate all high school students to economics, but in specific ways: “In economics, we absolutely want to teach students about certainties – concerning companies, unions… - whereas they have to be taught debate”, explained JPF, the president of the French Center of Economic Research (OFCE) and member of the Scientific Council for “Economy Days”, who reminds us that “economics is a world of uncertainties”.

“Virtuous globalization”
According to JPF, it’s also “normal” that French people don’t understand economy anymore, “because for years they have been said that market economy is supposed to make them happy, that Euro is supposed to bring growth and full employment, and that globalization is virtuous…. And if they don’t understand nothing to the situation of the banks, it’s because they hid it !”

Thus, French people are worrying about their future : 71% of them think the material situation of children of nowadays will be worse than the one of their generation.

Moreover, 80% of French people also think, it would be a good key for the student from
The high school to study economics. But with some good ways “ In economic study, we absolutely
Want some certainties are learnt to our students about companies, unions…., thought it will be better to learnt to them “the debate”from J.P Fitoussi ‘s ideas, the French chief of the scientic center of the days French economic research (OFCE) who is reminding to us “the economicis the
