Correction d'un poème

Bonjour, et merci d'avance pour votre aide :D


Il s'agit d' Je dois écrire un poème présentant de "fausses" excuses. Voici mon texte.
Thanks for your correction

This is just to say
I have borrowed
The bestseller
That was on your beside table

and I which
You wanted to read before putting to sleep you

Forgive me
It was tempting
So compelling
And so fascinating

I promise
I would return it to you when I would have read it

Bonsoir,
Your poem is very good.There are just a couple of things to correct.
'and I which you wanted to read...' 'I' is not necessary.
'before putting to sleep you'...before going to sleep.
'I promise I would return it when I would have read it.' You need to use the future in the first part and the present perfect in the second part and not the conditional perfect.
