The film Coach Carter has particularly impressed me because it conveys feelings and emotions. It seemed to be really close to reality and to my life when I played basketball.
It is the story of Ken Carter, Trainer of basketball in a district discriminated by California. But it is not a trainer as the others, he became famous in 1999 by depriving his whole team of matches as long as their school results would not be better. At the end of the movie, after progress of the players , the team win the championship.
In this movies, players play not for the victory but for the respect.
The film director supports the idea that there is a life after the school and that the young people must be prepared to face it. The society abandons sometimes too fast these needy young people.

Ken Carter est un entraîneur de basket dans un quartier défavorisé de Californie. Mais ce n'est pas un entraîneur comme les autres, il est devenu célébre en 1999 en privant son équipe au complet de matchs tant que leurs résultats scolaires ne seraient pas meilleurs.
