Message de superstef posté le 30-05-2014 à 17:03:17 (S | E | F)
Bonjour ,
lundi je passe mon oral d'anglais pour le Bac et j'aimerais bien que quelqu'un puisse corriger mes erreurs dans ce texte s'il vous plaît.
Merci pour vos réponses.

We must first define the notion of myth and héroes.A hero is a real or fictional character of the history , of the human’s Mythology or of arts. The myth is usually a story featuring supernatural beings, imaginary actions or collective fantasies.Several personalities can be part of these désignations.Abraham Lincoln is a good example.
We may ask ourselves , how has Lincoln marked the history ? For this, we will discuss about his different actions.
First, Abraham Lincoln was born the 20 of February 1809 in Hardin County in Kentucky. He learned by himself law at the beginning of his adult life and moves gradually to the poltitique. He finds himself at the head of the Whig party for a moment, and was elected to the House of Representatives from Illinois in 1930 and then to that of the United States in the 40’s.
Lincoln is remembered as one of the greatest American presidents and especially as one who abolished slavery. He opposed Stephen Douglas supporter of "right of states to introduce or not slavery in their territories" in many debates, which allows him to get national recognition.
The Republican Party, which was founded by northerners of the Whig party and the Democratic party and opposing sovereignist claims federated states, so chosen as representatives for the presidential elections.
Even if he is not supported by the southern states, he won the majority of northern states and became president in 1860 which leads an alliance of seven slave states of the South with the creation of the Confederates states of America. These states america Confederate attack on Fort Sumter, which is held by the union ,on side of Lincoln, the 12 of April 1861and the next day ,the fort was evacuated and goes into the hands of opponents of Lincoln.
This is the first battle and the beginning of the Américain Civil war. The North then gathers behind Lincoln in the war effort to reunite the nation.
Lincoln suspended writ of habeas corpus and thousands of suspected secessionists were arrested without trial.
The First of January 1863 there is a decree of Lincoln's "Emancipation Proclamation" declaring free all slaves in the Confederate states, this is a first step to the abolition of slavery (the thirteenth amendment to the constitution ratified 1865).
Under the command of Lincoln, the union set up a blockade to prevent trade in the South and trying to capture Richmond in Virginia, which is a success in 1865.
Lincoln was re-elected in 1864 after the defeat of the Confederate States, he is compliant with the southern states during his inauguration speech but he will not have time to accomplish his projects because he was assassinated by a Confederate partisan, Jhon Wikes Booth, the 14 of April 1865.
In conclusion , Abraham Lincoln marked the history of the United States, by his desire to bring justice and freedom, including abolishing slavery. Thus, this man is part of the heroes of our history and serves as an example to many people.

Il y a un mélange des temps dans votre essai. Vous devez utiliser le passé (pas présent) pour décrire les événements historiques..Notez également que les mots anglais n'ont pas les accents écrite.
