Can you help me please, I am going to describe you briefly a sporting event.

It was actually a football match when I was still at secondary school. The competition had been organised by our headmaster and it was held at school. I don't like football very much but I went there because it was the final and a lot of things had been settled for the event.I went with some of my classmates.
The day of the final,there were a stream of people and to my surprise,the atmosphere was incredibly amazing.The match itself was breath-taking. That was in fact one of the best moments I had had that year. After the football match, a party was organised to celebrate the winning team.I really enjoyed it!

I am going to describe you(you n'est pas un cod, on décrit à quelqu'un) briefly a sporting event that I have been(j'aurais mis un prétérit, c'est implicitement daté) to.
It was actually a football match when I was still at secondary school. The competition had been organised by our headmaster and it was held at school. I don't like football very much but I went there because it was the final and a lot of things had been settled(mauvais choix de verbe) for the event.I went with some of my classmates.
On The day of the final,there were (stream, sujet réel, est singulier)a stream of people and to my surprise,the atmosphere was incredibly amazing(ces deux mots jurent ensemble).The match itself was breath-taking. That was in fact one of the best moments I had had(un prétérit simple aurait sans doute suffit) that year. After the football match, a party was organised to celebrate the winning team(on fête une victoire, une élection mais une équipe?).I really enjoyed it!
