Message from sabrina1011 posted on 10-07-2013 at 20:41:34 (D | E | F)
Hello everyone,
I have got a question again.
Could you please help me with that? Thank you!
Here are the sentences.
There is a fly in the room. Can I say " In the room is a fly" instead.
or they got different ideas for each.
Thank you!
Sabrina

Hello,
I think that you could say the first like the second sentence (but I'm not really sure)

Hello

The first is the most common. The second is understandable, but not typical; it might be used for a certain literary effect.

Hi,sabrina1011,

that is a incorrect sentence,
you must say 'a fly is in the room.'
