Correction/climate
Message from lehongkhanh posted on 18-11-2013 at 02:31:23 (D | E | F)
Hello,
I have a writing. Can you help me to correct it? I learn English online. So I need someone who could give me some direction and correction.

This is the subject : Scientists and the new media are presenting ever more evidence of climate change. Government cannot be expected to solve this problem. It is the responsibility of individuals to change their lifestyle to prevent further damage. What are your views? (be about 250 words)

This is my work:
Climate change is a crisis at the level of the world. But I think its radical solution would start at level of individuals. However, many people do not understand carefully this problem and they think the government would easily resolve it. I will argue that regarding the efficiency of our nature conservation, the governments have responsibility to educate their citizens so that everyone practices a friendly behavior with the environment.
A significant reason is that many people do not have enough knowledge about climate change. As a matter of fact, they do not understand that their consumptions could be direct or indirect causes of climate change. For example, when wasting electricity, they do not think that they participate a little in greenhouse effect.
Additionally, they have to learn about seriousness of climate change. Because many people think if the earth’s average temperature increase a few, the consequence could not influence their life. For instance, when TV talks about sea-level rise, many people think that is just a problem of populations living in coastal regions and on islands.
In fact, egotism and lack of knowledge could be the main factor which pushes human beings to destruct frighteningly their fragile planet. Thus, with politics of environment, the governments have to apply an adequate education to help people, especially the youth, to assume their individual responsibilities in protection of the nature.
In conclusion, the governments have to give good directions, but everyone must be aware of their own actions for preserving our home earth. (This is 252 words)

Thank you for your help.
