The lion:Le lion
The Lion is also known as the 'King of Animals', and lives in grasslands and savannas from South Sahara to South Africa and some remain in India.
The female is called The Lioness. It does most of the huntings, and captures its prey with precise and complex work.
The Tiger:Le Tigre
The tiger is one of the most dangerous and powerful animals in the world. Lives in the Eastern and Southern of Asia. The tiger grasps its prey and gives it a quick bite to the neck which suffocates the animal. A female tiger is called The Tigress.
The Leopard:Le léopard The Leopard lives in Africa, Asia from the Middle East to Siberia and Southeast. Leopards prey on everything from large to small mammals, to birds and even fish; leopard hunts its prey mainly at night, and has an easy supply of energy. A female leopard is called leopardess. The Black Panther:La Panthère Noire Like the Leopards, The Black Panthers live in grasslands to dense jungles and mountains, mainly in Southwestern China, and other parts of Southern India. They prey on everything. Panthers are not necessarily black, but may also be coloured; tawny, spotted or white. The Cheetah: Le Guépard The Cheetah lives in South and East Africa, and some may remain in the Middle East. Cheetahs are the world's fastest terrestrial mammals. The cheetah does most of its hunting during the day. The Snow Leopard: Le Léopard de neige The Snow Leopard lives in central Asia from northwestern China to Tibet and the Himalayas mountains. Snow leopards are solitary and hunt alone, preying on mammals and birds. The Wolf:Le loup Wolves and most larger dogs share identical locations.Wolves are able to tread easily on a wide variety of terrains, especially snow. The Wolf is highly adaptable, lives in forests, deserts, mountains, grasslands and even in urban areas. The Bear: L'ours The Bear has a large body with stocky legs, a long snout and shaggy hair, also a short tail. Laws have been passed in many areas of the world to protect bears from the hunters. The Crocodile: Le Crocodile Crocodiles are ambush hunters, waiting for fish or land animals to come closer, then rushing out to attack. The Crocodile can survive long periods without food. The large species of crocodiles are very dangerous to humans and other animals. We can find crocodiles in many parts of the world mainly in South-east Asia and Africa.
