Merci d'avance.
Review: The Hurricane.
The Hurricane is from director Norman Jewison, who's produced “In the Heat of the Night” and “The cast of coke-heads”. Adapted from a pair of books about falsely imprisoned boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter (including his memoirs, "The 16th Round") this film is a well-intentioned biographical drama.
The film begins a month after the Kennedy assassination, and The "Hurricane" (Denzel Washington) is fighting his way towards the middleweight championship of the world. Cut to 1973, where Carter, now in jail, is trying to keep the manuscript for his book from being confiscated. Then it's ten years later in Toronto, Ontario. A young boy named Lesra Martin (Vicellous Shannon), who had been taken from his parents by three Canadians (Liev Schreiber,John Hannah and Deborah Unger), buys the first book in his life. It just happens to be Hurricane Carter's memoirs. Lesra decides to write to Hurrican a letter, a correspondence begins and soon he and the Canadians become a second family to Hurricane.
Based on a true story, it's certainly not lacking in power. That power is delivered beautifully by Denzel. He brings to the part of Carter rage and fear, hated and love. For exemple the scene in which he tells his wife to divorce him, consider him dead, simply bury him. Another thing to enjoy is the film's soundtrack, with the Bob Dylan song.
If the film is lacking anything, it's in the scenes where Lesra's friends from Canada run around trying to uncover new evidence which will get Carter free. It almost seems like they're from a different movie.
To Sum up, The Hurricane is a wonderful movie. Denzel's presence pushes the film over the top, making it definitely worth viewing.

Bonjour dexnoo1,
A l'évidence, tu manipules l'anglais avec beaucoup d'aisance et j'ai pris plaisir à te lire.
Mes interventions se sont donc bornées à des détails et te sont signalées en majuscules, as usual.
"The Hurricane" is THE TITLE OF A FILM (exact ?) BY director Norman Jewison ...//...
The film begins ONE month after the assassination OF Kennedy ...//...
the middleweight world championship. BACK to 1973, ...//...
Lesra decides to write Hurricane a letter ...//...
Based on a true story, it certainly doesn 't lack power...//...
He CONVEYS rage and fear, hatRed and love to the part of Carter. (il est en affet préférable de ne pas séparer les COD de leur verbe) For exAmple (orth.) the scene ...//...
Another thing to enjoy is the film soundtrack, (nom composé <=> pas de cas possessif) with Bob Dylan'S song. (là, oui !)
...//... trying to DIScover new evidence ...
Keep going and good luck.
