Bonjour !
Je dois compléter les phrases ci dessous avec des mots de la liste suivante ( mais j'ai des difficultés ^^ ):
Nouns :
=> showdown = confrontation
=> (have) misgivings = avoir des appréhensions
=> sin = pêché
=> (clear) conscience = bonne conscience
=> remorse = remord
=> guilt = culpabilité
=> villain = méchant
=> devil = diable
=> Heaven = ciel
=> Paradise = paradis
=> Hell = enfer

Adjectives :
=> astonished = très surpris
=> amazed = stupéfiant
=> stunned = assomé, stupéfait
=> horrible = horrible
=> awful = affreux
=> weird = étrange et inquiétant
=> ashamed = honteux
=> guilty = coupable
=> responsible for sth = responsable
=> ironical = ironique
=> scornful = méprisant
=> remorseless = sans remord
=> nervous = inquiet
=> panic - stricken = frappé de panique

Verbs :
=> expect = s'attendre à
=> dread sth/V-ing = redouter
=> fear = craindre
=> ignore = ignorer
=> dismiss = renvoyer
=> lose one's tremper = get angry = etre fâcher
=> intimidate = intimider
=> warn = avertir, prévenir
=> do one's duty = faire son devoir
=> commit crimes = get rid of = se débarasser de
=> vanish = desappear = dispparaître

This Text is the story of a showdown between a businessman and the messenger from death. First, Dr Richter pretended to ignore the visitor and kept staring at his desk. On hearing the weird voice. Dr Richter felt having an apprehension and had clear conscience. Yet, he was ashamed toward the visitor and tried to dismissed him. When the messenger introduced himself, Dr Richter was confronted with a ghastly apparition, and he was frightened. The man reminded him of an undertaker and Dr Richter nervous hearing the message the visitor was here to deliver.
That's why he shouted at the man, and ........ ........ ......... The visitor warn him that he would soon die. Dr Richter refused to be guilt by a trade-unionist. The messenger informed him that everything had been planned, that he would have to pay for all his ...... that he wasn't reponsible the death of fifty workers only. Finally, Dr Richter, who wanted to get ride of the visitor, called his butler. But when the servant entered the room, the messenger had already remorse. In my opinion, Dr Richter, is a pitiless businessman, a villain who feels neither .......... nor ........... fo what he has done. Obviously, he was a .......... ..............., he isn't ....... .......... his past life, has never thought that he could end up ......... because he had many sin. Who the messenger ? Is he the devil hauntig people ?

Pour vous aider, il y a un texte mais je n'arrive pas à le scanner, donc dans un de mes messages précédent, il y avait un résumé. désolé ^^
