Almost French

have recently read a nice book titled "Almost French" by Sarah Turnbull. It's about a young Australian journalist who decides to travel, as it's usual in Oz to take sabbatics and travel through Europe.
She ends up by meeting a French guy who invites her to France. She falls in love with the country and also the guy.
The interest of the book is that not only does it tell us about her life and experiences in France but also her description of French society. She explains how French can be different from English or Ozzies. All the misunderstandings she had to suffer...
Has anybody else read the book ?
Love to hear about any English book you might have read and would like to share with us.
