1 You can't stop me doing what I want.

2 I must go now. I promised not to be late.

3 Do you want me to come with you or do you want to go alone?

4 I'm sure I locked the door. I clearly remember locking it.

5 She tried to be serious but she couldn't help laughing

6 I like cleaning the kitchen as often as possible.

7 I'm tired. I'd rather not go out this evening, if you don't mind.

8 ‘Shall I stay here?' 'I'd rather you would come with us.'

9 Are you looking forward to seeing Ann again?

10 When Jane came to Britain, she had to get used to driving on the left.

11 I’m thinking of buying a house. Do you think that's a good idea?

12 I'm sure you'll have no difficulties to pass the exam.

13 A friend of mine phoned to invite me to a party.

14 Jim doesn't speak very clearly. He is difficult to understand

15 The path was icy, so we walked very carefully. We were afraid of falling
