Betty arriva au train de 13h30 et téléphona à un ami pour savoir s’il pouvait venir la chercher en voiture. Il arriva 10 minutes plus tard et la conduisit à son hôtel où elle avait réservé une chambre pour 2 nuits. Il attendit qu’elle ait pris une douche, et ils allèrent se promener à pied le long de la plage. Une fois qu’ils eurent parlé un long moment ils s’arrêtèrent pour boire un verre. C’est très agréable de prendre 2 jours de congés et de rester à ne rien faire. Quand elle rentrera chez elle, ses amies lui poseront un tas de questions.

Alors, tu as fait l'école buissonière durant le week-end ? Tu as bien fait, nous nous sommes amusés comme des petits fous avec les jeux du webmaster !

J'ai vu de très bonnes traductions, bravo ! j'ai vu aussi un futur qui a été corrigé ..... mais il en reste un Floral .....et en général l'avant dernière phrase est trop calquée sur le français ( c'est agréable de...) trouvez la tournure plus anglaise pour ça ;
je vous laisse mijoter un peu, je donnerai ma proposition demain

Grâce à ces petites traductions concises, claires je vois aujourd'hui les progrès effectués. Pas de grands discours, juste des phrases simples que l'on retient facilement et le dictionnaire se repose de plus en plus, les tournures anglaises deviennent évidences.
