à Tous!
On appelle "contractions" les formes qui condensent deux mots en un seul.
Ex:"I'm" pour "I am".
Ex:"won't" pour "will not" Etc...
Les Américains sont "les rois des contractions", à tel point qu'un nouveau "langage" trés familier pointe le bout de son nez!
"Contractions décontractées", récrivez les phrases suivantes en Anglais/Américain:
1/ He's going to come.
2/ There's got to be a better way.
3/ We want to see the boss.
4/ It just is not worth the bother.
5/ I felt kind of sorry for him.
6/ I sort of wish I hadn't said that.

Je doute d'avoir très bien compris ce qu'il faut faire... je verrais bien.

1/ He's going to come. --> He is going to come
2/ There's got to be a better way.--> There has got to be a better way
3/ We want to see the boss. --> We want the boss to see.
4/ It just is not worth the bother.
5/ I felt kind of sorry for him. --> I felt sorry for him
6/ I sort of wish I hadn't said that. --> I wish I hadn't said that.

Bonjour Kenzo45,

Plutôt que "les contractions", j'aurais intitulé cet exercice "colloquial English" ou quelque chose dans ce style...
1 He is going to come.
2 There has to be a better way.
3 We want to see the manager.
4 It is not at all worth the trouble.
5 I felt rather sorry for him.
6 I wish I hadn't said that.
