Voila un petit exercice:

Mettez les verbes au temps et à la forme qui convient prétérit ou present perfect

a) With the building of the bridge to the island, peace and tranquility (to disappear)

b) Britain (to be) a member of the EC since 1973

c) Queen Elizabeth (to visit) the United States in 1991

d) The Bristish currency (to be) decimalised in 1971

Je crois que la règle est : Lorsque la phrase est datée (en 19..) et que l'action est terminée on utilise le prétérit. Lorsque l'action se situe dans le passé mais est toujours d'actualité (ou a une incidence sur le présent), on peut utiliser le present perfect.

J'ai demandé à Lucile de corriger tous tes exercices en expliquant les erreurs.
Mettre un exercice sur ce forum nécessite de connaitre son sujet parfaitement et de pouvoir mener les débats. Tu le savais, suite aux MP échangés, et l'expérience prouve que ça n'est pas le cas.

A la demande de Bridg je viens préciser certaines choses:

Marit, parfait
Sixa, Grabuge, Gewurz, Speedjo, Fapom, vous avez fait la même faute =
a) have disappeared car le sujet est au pluriel( la paix ET la tranquillité )

Salsify et Letsyrc même faute = present perfect à la a) car l'action n'est pas datée et elle continue dans le présent

Pascaline, à la b) has been car l'action continue dans le présent

Goldberg, à la b) Britain has been car c'est un sujet au singulier

Merci a toi et à bridg... pour cette correction bien plus qu' utile ( pour moi en tout cas)... Car se "corriger soi-même" en comparant les différentes réponses n' est pas toujours chose aisée pour un débutant...
