Bon courage.

- You should have told me. You needn't have done it by yourself, I would have helped you.
- Would you have come if I had called you on a Sunday?
- I do think so! don't you?
- So do I! But I had to change my plans. I needn't tell you that I had to hurry.
However, I think you might still help me. There might be a last task to fulfil but if you come by car tomorrow, be careful, you could skid. They can't salt the road because of a decree.
- Still, if it had been salted, there wouldn't have had any accident.
- How right you are!

* Goodbye!

Gewurz .

You should have told me this. You needn't have done this alone! I would have help you.

Would you come a saturday in the morning if I had called you ? I think so. Don't you ?

I do. But I had to change my plans. I NEEDN'T TO TELL YOU that I had to hurry up

I think you could still help me , yet. There may be a last job to do but if you come tomorrow be carefull, you might skid on the ice.

They are not allowed to salt the road because of a decree

Still, if it had been salt, there wouldn't have been an accident

How right you are

Bonjour gewurz !

Charmante cette idée de nous faire réviser.

- You should have told me. You needn’t have done all this work by yourself, I would have helped you.
- Would you have come if I had called you on a Sunday morning?
- I think so. Don’t you?
- I do ! But I was obliged to change my plans. I need hardly tell you that I was to hurry up.
However, I think you could still help me. There might be a last task to fulfil, but when you come tomorrow, be careful, you might skid on the ice. They can’t salt the road because of a decree.

-------------------

--> You should have told me. You needn't have done it alone / by yourself, I would have helped you.

--------------------

--> Would you have come if I had called you on a Sunday morning ?

-------------------

- Je le pense ! Pas vous ?
--> I (do) think so ! Don't you ?

--> I do ! Only, I had to alter my plans. I need hardly tell you that I had to hurry up.
("so do I" = "moi aussi" mais bon, c'est bien le même sens dans ce contexte)
(that I was to hurry up = que je devais me dépêcher)
(je me dépêche = I'm hurrying; se dépêcher = to hurry up)

------------------

--> However, I think you could/might still help me.
(could si possibilité physique, might si éventualité)
(still = "encore, dans le temps = toujours", again = encore une fois, or ce serait la première fois qu'il l'aiderait)

------------------

--> There may be a last task / job to accomplish but if you come tomorrow, be careful, you might skid on the ice.
(dans ce contexte, le risque prévaut sur la possibilité physique --> might plutôt que could)

--------------

--> They are not allowed to salt (US) / grit (GB) the road because of a bylow.

--> And yet, if there had been salt, there wouldn't have been an(y) accident.
il y a eu = there has been (et non there has had)

--------------

- Comme vous avez raison !
--> How right you are !

----------------
