Structures causatives 2 (exo)

Did you paint the living-room yourself ? No (a professional painter)
No, I had it painted by a professional painter (construction causative de to have avec sens passif et complément d'agent, lequel peut-être sous-entendu)

1/ Did you repair the engine of your car yourself ?
No (the mechanic)
2/ Did your father build his garage himself ?
No (a builder)
3/ Does she make her dresses herself ?
No (a neighbour)
4/ Are you going to wash the car yourself ?
No (the children)
5/ Were you able to stop the leak ?
No (the plumber)
6/ Are you going to frame this picture yourself ?
No (a professional framer)
7/ Did they murder the man themselves ?
No (a hired assassin)
8/ Did Ken translate the French poem himself ?
No (his sister)
9/ Is he going to make the shelves himself ?
No (the joiner)
10/ Does he wash his own shirts
No (his wife)

Allez un petit effort
