Vous l'avez échappé belle/traduction
Message de lucile83 posté le 02-04-2005 à 17:20:36 (S | E | F | I)

Hello

A few minutes ago, I nearly posted a text about doctors ans nurses wolrd, and of course, you would have had to translate it. But I gave up this idea for it was too difficult though Bridg would have surely liked it !
Translating without any dictionary is very interesting ; you can notice that you work better and better, faster and faster. And I, I really enjoy myself. It's like my pupils, we pretend to phone to each other and they learn thousands of things without even realizing it. As if we were playing in a film ; we have a good time while working and they love that. And so do I. Well, see you later.

Euh, c'était bien le texte à traduire ? Ou bien ai-je loupé un épisode ?

Merci Lucile.

Voilà j'arrive mais j'attendrai inquiète ton verdict

A few minutes ago I narrowly posted a text about doctors and nurses world, and of course you should have had to translate it. But I gave up the idea; it was too hard even if bridg had been pleased! How interesting it’s to translate without dictionary; we can notice how better and better and more and more quickly we work. And me I really have fun. It’s the same thing with my pupils, we pretend to phone and they learn thousands of things without realizing it. As if we were playing in a movie; we have fun while working and they love that. Me too!
Well, see you later.

Bonsoir Lucile et
mais que dis-tu Bridg, son verdict à Lucile, non, tu vas voir, elle va nous "diagnoser" et nous "treater"car elle a tous les éléments, nous ayant caché son texte "en première intention"
Well, I take the plunge :

It’s the same about my students, we pretend to phone each other and they learn thousands of things without realizing. It’s like acting in a film : you entertain working and they love it.

Hello! were you missing me?<= à traduire aussi, non?
A few minutes ago, I was about to post a text about the world of doctors and nurses, and you would have had to translate it, of course. I had to give the idea up for it was too difficult although it would certainly have pleased Bridg! ( 'A dictionary-free translation' => new!) is very interesting; you can realise/see that your work goes on better and better as well as faster and faster. I personally do enjoy it. Same with my pupils, we pretend we phone each other thus they learn thousands of things without realising. It's like being in a film; we work and play at the same time which they adore. So do I! Well, see you soon.
( Same with your translation lucile, work n'play !

Bonjour Lucile!

That was a close one!!!

A few minutes earlier, I was this close to post a text dealing with the world of doctors and nurses, which, obviously, you should have had to translate. But I gave up the idea, even though Bridg would have definitely enjoyed it, because the text was too difficult. Translating without using a dictionary is interesting; you realize you work in a better and faster way. This entertains me too. It’s just like making fake calls with my juniors; they can learn thousands of things without actually noticing. It’s as if we were acting in a movie; we both work and have fun, they love it and so do I! [everyone wins!] Well, I’ll see you later.

Hello ruofei,
I like your translation very much, it's quite perfect even though different from mine; but as for the sentence just below I would have said:
you realise you work in a better and faster way
instead of:
you realize you work in a better/faster way

See you soon
