Bonjour, texte à mettre en anglais.

Le courage de ce petit garçon est remarquable. Nous
le voyons braver la fureur des terribles ours gris. La fillette est
tombée accidentellement dans leur antre, et ses appels au secours enragent ces brutes. Avec un courage sublime le petit garcon saute dans l'antre armé seulement d'un bâton.

The courage of this little boy is remarkable. We see him braving the fury of the wild grizzly bears. The little girl has accidently got into their den and her cries for help are enraging the brutes. With magnificent courage
the little boy jumps into the den, armed with only a stick.

Je traduis au present continu car vu le présent simple en français on a l'impression d'assister à une scène en direct commentée par un présentateur, est-ce de cela qu'il s'agit ? sinon je ne comprends pas trop l'usage du présent simple en français.
=> "The young boy's courage is outstanding. We can see him braving the terrible grey bears' fury. By accident, the little girl has fallen into their lair and her calls for help are making these beasts become furious. With an incredible (ou a sublime) courage, the little boy is jumping into the lair armed only with a stick."
pas facile du tout..j'ai hâte d'avoir les commentaires et la correction,

cave = grotte
den = terrier
staff or stick = baton
rod = canne, baguette

note to simpatike your bear is transformed into wolf ? Thare's magic in the air!

Lair est un synonyme de den..et signifie également antre, repère.

Dommage, la solution est déjà donnée sinon, j'aurai pu essayé de le traduire.

Ne serait-il pas possible d'attendre un peu avant de donner les corrections pour laisser le temps de faire les exercices proposés à ceux et celles qui ne peuvent pas venir sur le site tous les jours

je croiyais que le petit heros ne se sortiras pas vivant puisque c'est comme ca alors on continu grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. .

The furious bear rushs toward him, but the boy drives the stick into eyes’s bear-----blinds him and nimbly jumps sideways. In a flash he is beside the girl; he takes her away in these arms and, to be protected, rapidly climbs the visible tree in the den. They stay there until being saved by the gardian, and the little boy is then declared great hero.

Pour ce chapitre, je traduirai le présent de narration qui donne de la vivacité au récit par le prétérite.

The ragin bear rushed towards him but the boy thrusted the stick into its eyes to blind it, jumped on one side and quickly (or in the twinkling of an eye ) took away the girl . So as to protect them, he climbed a tree with the girl in her arms . They stood here until the keeper saved them. Thenthe boy is proclaimed a great hero.

Le vrai courage

he is by the girl's side; he gathers her in his arms and climbs into the protection of the tree which we see in the den. Here they stay until they are rescued by the game-keepers and the boy is then acclaimed a great hero.
