In the lesson of the week, I noticed the beginning of the poem by Emma Lazarus, written on the statue's base (Statue of Liberty).I think it's interesting to have got a translation in French : " Give me your tired, your poor, your huddle masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore, send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me . I lift lamp beside the golden door.

to Babyscot59. ------------.I thank you for your answer.I think it is O.K. I didn't know how translating "teeming shore " and "tempest-tost". You gave them a sense that certainly the author wanted :an outcome for everyone who looks for liberty . Happy to read you and sorry about mistakes in English.

Salut!
tost = tossed, mal orthographié
