Looking for an Irish connection

Hi, I'm a french 34 years old just arrived in Ireland. I'm working in It but i'd like to find someone who can help to improve my english skills. I really want to learn this language in the right way, but i'm meeting some problems speaking with Irish and also English people. I can just speak for practical things but i really want to be able to communicate in a long evening like i use to do in French or Italian

I like going out, Cinema, and international litterature. I also d'like to know what books are now classical in english language.
I can of course help for any french question as i made long studies in France
