Let's suggest 99/ Taking it easy 45
Message de here4u posté le 16-12-2025 à 22:15:26 (S | E | F)
Hello dears,

Another easy exercice that everyone can do! Let's write together...

1) People are becoming more and more individualistic...

2) Do you like detective stories? Why or why not?

3) With the Internet, you'll never be lonely again...

Go for it! with THE FORCE.

Hello dears,

We have an answer to the tricky questions I asked you!

ANSWER A: Topic 1: People are becoming more and more individualistic... Please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy...

It is true that despite all means of communication, people are increasingly isolated and disconnected from their surroundings. It is not uncommon to see four people sitting together and each with their smartphone and no one talking to the other
Education, new technologies have made people more self-sufficient.
Urbanization also isolates people. We live in tall buildings or houses surrounded by high walls and we do not know our neighbours.
The new customs have changed society: divorces, blended families, working women give more independence to everyone.
Personal success seems to have become more important than association life.
However, social ties remain the factor of well-being. We note that when solidarity is called upon, people respond present and mobilise. In case of major disasters or misfortune, the populations help themselves.

Thanks for your help!

Hello!

ANSWER A: Topic 1: People are becoming more and more individualistic...
magie!

It is true that, despite all means of communication, people are increasingly isolated and disconnected from their surroundings. It is not uncommon to see four people sitting together, (each person with their smartphones (without "s", each person has usually only one) no one talking to the others/the other three.
Education and ((the) new technologies have made people more self-sufficient.
Urbanisation also isolates people. We live in tall buildings or houses surrounded by high walls and we do not know our neighbours.
The (or not "the"?) new customs have changed society: divorces, blended families, working women give more independence to everyone.
Personal success seems to have become more important than (associative life/voluntary sector/investment in
volunteer/life in society/social life.
However, social ties remain the factor of well-being. We note that punctuation when solidarity is called upon, people respond present and mobilise. In case of major disasters or misfortune (I would put both either singular or plural, in case of a major disaster or (a) misfortune/disasters or misfortunes), ( (bad luck, people help each other I'm not sure that's what was meant. Could it be The population helps itself (that's to say without relying on state aid)?

qu'est-ce qui est faux avec misfortune?
La "belle faute", ce serait the populations help themselves ?)

2) Do you like detective stories? Why or why not?

I like detective stories because I like to search the assassin and to understand why he or she killed someone. I like to see the assassin reaction when he or she committed the crime and at the moment he or she unmasked. Sometimes the crime is simple but sometimes the crime are complex. I find that detective stories are very interesting. The assassin often had a lot of imagination.
There stories keep in suspense. Reads don't want to finish detective stories quickly because there are actions. I prefer to read books because it work the brain and the imagination to create the scene in the head. It permise to imagine murders and corpses for the non sensitive person for those who really like this kind. I find this stories funny.
I hate nothing detective stories.
To conclude, if you would like to pass a good moment, think to read detective stories. Good reading.

In English, "assassin" has a restrictive definition. This is not the most appropriate word here.
