Hello dears,

Comme l'Expression libre est la compétence la plus difficile à bien acquérir dans l'apprentissage d'une langue, il nous faut nous y entraîner, même si c'est notre langue maternelle, d'ailleurs...
Another easy exercice that everyone can do! Let's write together...

Certains m'avaient dit être gênés d'exprimer des idées personnelles ( - ils avaient l'impression - souvent fausse - de les exprimer maladroitement ). Dautre part, vous savez que je ne vous demande pas de " raconter votre vie " si vous ne le désirez pas... Je souhaite juste vous voir vous exprimer sur tout sujet aussi " librement " que possible.
De plus, je pense que vous aurez maintenant compris que pour moi, toute expression, même maladroite, est intéressante et a de la valeur. Elle nous stimule tous à " trouver mieux " !

Voici les questions auxquelles vous pourrez répondre :

1) "Too little, too late!" Imagine a context to justify this statement.

2) You shouldn't teach 'trust' in our present society. Do you agree?

3) Is not speaking a foreign language a handicap nowadays?

Répondez à 1 ou 2 questions au choix en mp en notant bien les références - et développez celle(s) que vous voulez, jusqu'à atteindre en tout un maximum d'environ 150 mots.

Envoyez-moi vos réponses en mp et je publierai une première série que vous 'corrigerez' (en bleu d'abord pendant deux jours, sans donner 'votre solution') puis en vert, en suggérant une ou des solutions. ANSWER A: Topic2: You shouldn't teach "trust" in our present Society. Do you agree? Please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy to you.

Nowadays, facing the increase of intolerance and all kinds of offences, everything and everyone leads us to mistrust.
So should we stop teaching about trust, then what about trust?
Trust has many faces:
-Trust in oneself or in others, inspire confidence.
-To have confidence, to trust, to keep confidence, to lose confidence.
-Teaching confidence means making people understand discernment: Why and how to trust? Analysing blind trust and trust with restrictions and precautions.
Can we give back our trust to someone who has betrayed us or who has a reputation for incompetence or dishonesty?
In my opinion, teaching "trust" is more useful than ever. Adding the teaching of the acceptance of disappointment in case of error of judgment. Knowing the risks, knowing how to protect them are also part of this teaching.
As far as I am concerned, a society without trust relationships is not human. Living in mistrust and permanent fear is not sustainable.

Nowadays, facing the increase of intolerance and all kinds of offences, everything and everyone leads us to mistrust.
So should we stop teaching about trust, then what about trust? (je trouve la juxtaposition un peu incohérente)
Trust has many faces:
-Trust in oneself or in others, inspire confidence.
-To have confidence, to trust, to keep confidence, to lose confidence.
-Teaching confidence means making people understand discernment: Why and how to trust? Analysing blind trust and trust with restrictions and precautions.
Can we give back our trust to someone who has betrayed us or who has a reputation for incompetence or dishonesty?

I can hear it: 'You guys took advantage of me, and the truth is, a lot of you seem never to think of the damage you caused on animals, on trees, on our beautiful seas... Sometimes I wonder if you're not just spoiled and selfish children, careless of the consequences of your actions. Seriously, do you really need all these things that require so much raw materials and other precious resources? Will you at last listen to my regular warnings - heatwaves, floods, and what with earthquakes... Of course the most sensible among you have become aware of my getting sicker and sicker, and they have sounded the alarm for a long time... Believe me, it lifts my spirits and I'm very grateful for what they do! But I'm afraid that it will be too little, and too late...'
