Message de taconnet posté le 10-07-2009 à 11:43:07 (S | E | F)

Bonjour.

Hello Taconnet,

Here's my try :

Thoughtless Sue.
- Do you know what happened to Sue last week ?
- No, what on earth happened to her?
- She drove into town to see a movie and she just couldn’t find her car when she came out of the cinema. She looked for it everywhere but there was no trace of it. She eventually went to the police. There, she was asked the description of the car, as it was presumed that the car had been stolen. Sue had to go home by bus. She received a phonecall the day after. Her car had been found out…in the supermaket parking lot where she had left it.

The moral of the story is : it is sometimes better to stay home and watch movies on TV.

Thank you,
Ndege.

-no, what on earth happened to her?
she drove into town in order to see a movie and ,when she went out ,she couldn't find her car. She looked for it everywhere, but she found no trace of it.
finally, she decided to go to the police where she has been asked to give the description of the car , as if it had been stolen.Sue had to come back home by bus. ( I still haven't taken the time to thank you for the correction of your previous exercise...So, thank you very much for it !)

How absent-minded of Sue !

- Have you heard what happened to Sue last week ?

- I haven't. What on earth is it about ?

- She drove downtown to the pictures and when she left the cinema, she was

unable to find her car. She hunted everywhere for it but there was no trace of

the car.

She ended up in the police station where she was asked to describe the vehicle,

as it could have been stolen. Sue had to go back home by bus. The following

morning, she got a phone call : her car had been found... in the car park of

the supermarket, at the very place she had parked it !

Bonjour.

Sue the scatterbrain.

- She drove into town to see a film, then couldn't find her car when she came out of the cinema. She looked everywhere but there was no trace of it. Finally she went to the police. There, they asked her to give them a description of it, thinking it had been stolen. Sue had to catch the bus home. The next morning she had a phone call. Her missing car had been found... in the supermarket carpark where she had left it.

Moral : Sometimes it's better to watch films on TV at home.

Je vous remercie de votre participation.
