Hello,

Voici un exercice à traduire,niveau débutants ou faux débutants.
C'est ouvert à tous car on peut toujours avoir des surprises
Correction vers le 25 mai

Merci d'utiliser les formules de politesse élémentaires (bonjour, s'il vous plaît, merci...).C'est un détail mais le site n'est pas une sorte de self-service, vous avez des personnes bénévoles derrière l'écran.

Le téléphone sonne…Pat répond.
Pat - Allo, qui est à l’appareil?
Jane - C’est Jane ! Comment vas-tu ?
Pat - Bien, merci. Quand veux-tu venir ?
Jane - Je viendrai samedi prochain si tu veux bien.
Pat - D’accord ! combien de temps resteras-tu ici ?
Jane - Je pense que je resterai 3 jours.
Pat - Est-ce que Sue viendra avec toi ?
Jane – Non, elle ne peut pas. Elle passe un examen la semaine prochaine.
Pat – Tant pis, elle viendra quand elle pourra.
Jane – A bientôt.
Pat – OK, je suis heureuse de te voir bientôt.

Pat: Good; How long will you be staying here?
Jane: Three days, I guess.
Pat: Is Sue coming along?
Jane: She can't make it. She's having an exam the coming week.
Pat: Pity!(Too bad!/Bad on her!)). She'll come round when she's able to.

I was kindly told recently that my English is not too bad : here is to prove otherwise !

I agree it's a bit "personal" but i found the text a little too "rigid" .(thanks for the exercise anyway!)

Je viens de voir votre message sur les formules de politesse.(FORUM)
C'est ma première participation au FORUM (un peu stressé aussi) et je n'ai pas tout saisi des procédures de ce type d'exercice
J'ai omis une formule de politesse car je n'avais pas saisi que vous receptionniez directement ma proposition.

Toutes mes excuses d'autant que j'ai bien conscience du travail bénévole fait sur le site.
