Psycho/aide
Message de eugge86 posté le 26-02-2020 à 14:41:11 (S | E | F)
Bonjour,
Pour une présentation orale, je dois faire l'anamnèse de Norman Bates, personnage principal du film "psycho" d'Alfred Hitchcock.
Merci pour votre aide

Anamnèse
Norman Bates is 27, he is single and without children. Norman’s father died when he was 5, whereupon, his mother, Norma, raised him alone. Norma is authoritarian and overprotective. For a while, they live as if they were alone in the world thanks to the money left by the father, until Norma meets a man who becomes her lover. Having great influence over her, he pushed her to build a motel: the “Bates Motel”. The presence of this man in their life changes the fusional relationship that Norman had with his mother.

Norman feels abandoned and he ends up poisoning his mother and her lover. Before his mother was buried in the Crimelon cemetery, Norman steals the corpse which he embalms and hides in the cellar of the Bates motel. He sticks her eyelids to keep her eyes open and convince himself that she is still alive. He describes her as a sick woman, with her character, which should never be disturbed. At the same time, he took over the management of the motel. It was at this time that the national road was diverted, which caused a drop in attendance at the motel, which was almost deserted.

When he is not looking after his mother or the motel, Norman practises his beloved passtime: taxidermy. He mounts many birds of all kinds, but no other animal. He saying that with the exception of birds, the sight of other stuffed animals horrifies him. He has few friends, if any, since the only people he sees are the few lost travelers who come to bates motel. The strong jealousy of his mother, still present for him, isolates him all the more, since this prevents him from building links with people, and especially with women. He therefore lives in seclusion.
