Bonjour,
Merci de m'aider à compléter le texte a trou à la fin car je bloque complètement.
- The NRA -> National Rifle Assocation
The NRA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the legal use of firearms and protecting the right of US citizens to keep and bear arms. In addition to sponsoring numerous education and training programes for gun owners, the NRA opposes gun control legislation. The NRA has a membership of about four million members.
- Avec j'ai une côté d'un homme portant une affiche sur laquelle est écrit : "THE PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS", à côté de lui des gens tiennent un drapeau américain et la plupart des gens dans la foule portent des tenues militaires.
-> Describe the photo (Useful : placard - slogan - be dressed in camouflage)
In the foreground, we can see a man named Patrick Henry who stay on up a placard on which the following slogan is written : THE PEOPLE HAVE THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS. In the middle, somebody stay on up an american flag. Last but not least, in the background, the majority of the group are dressed in camouflage. Indeed, the most of people, wear military's clothes
-> What are these people demonstrating for and against ?
These people are demonstrating for the right to have a arms freely in the United States of America and are against a law which would restrict the usage of these arms.
-> Fill in the blancks
By displaying the( American ) flag, also known as the Stars and Stripes or the Star-Spangled Banner, the demonstrators want to show they are (patrioctics ???) like Thomas ????, ???? Paine or ????. They imply that those who are againt the right to (keep) and '(bear) arms are ??? freedom.
Les mots à compltéer sont entre () ou ???

Bonjour magique60, une petite recherche sur l'Internet te donnerait: Thomas J........ né le 13 avril 1743 à Shadwell et mort le 4 juillet 1826 à Monticello et T..... Paine (1737-1809).(Perhaps, I'm not really sure for the first one). Both were "patriotics heroes" Trouves-en a third one (G. W.) very wellknown. I think to "against"freedom. mais j'en suis encore moins sûr! Good luck.
Bye!
