Flick off a switch

Hi everybody
I was wondering whatmean the following idiom means :"flick off a switch"
I've heard this idiom a few times in the street andi I have absolutely no idea what that means.
I'm sorry because I do not have any context and I'm not sure to spell each word properly i.e "of" instead of "off" etc.
I have a guess but I'm not sure, maybe it means the same as :" in a blink of an eye".
Thank you in advance for your help
Regards
Fabrice.

To "flick" something means to hit it with a finger (usually the middle one), by letting the finger gain energy by holding it against the thumb and then removing the thumb.
"Off" is simply a particle describing the position the switch is in after you flick it.

Bonjour
« A flick of a switch » used to emphasize how it is easy to start a machine and use it.
« All it takes is a flick of a switch. »
At the flick of a switch ──► Juste en appuyant sur un bouton.
