Dictionary/off day
Message de zineb88 posté le 08-05-2011 à 18:56:30 (S | E | F)
Hello,
I have found the word "off day" in Oxford Dictionary, which means 'a day when you do not do things as well as usual'.
But ,this word does not exist in Cambridge Dictionary.
My question is: does it mean that this word is not used ,or how could we explain that?
Can I get some advice, please ?
Thank you for your help.

Hello
This expression is very common in English. It is also in Macmillan Lien Internet
However, do not confuse it with "day off" which means something completely different. Although, it is possible that you are having an off day on your day off.
