Deception, elder son, engaged, all summer, thank you, letter, yesterday, experience, coffee shop, get through to, harder, anyway, would be
Dear John,
I have been trying to get through to you for the past month but either your line is deception or nobody answers.
This is strange! Since I need to talk to you about something important, I have decided to write this letter hoping you can help me.
I am looking for a part-time job for my elder son, Jimmy, that you know well, and I figure you could help me.
The university year is almost over now and I don't want him around in the house all summer. I want him to work and realise what it is like in the working world. That experience could also make him study harder next year. I don't find him mature enough for his age and not determinated enough. Do you think you could take him with you in your coffee shop for 2 months, July and August?
He is ready to do anything, wash the dishes, clean the tables, sweep the floor, wait on the customers, whatever you may need him for. It would be a big disappointment for him should you not be able to find him something. He does want to work. He is aware he has no professional experience but he is willing to try hard and you know he is serious.
So, John, I do hope to hear from you soon and thank you, in advance, for your help. You have Jimmy's mobile phone number, so don't hesitate to call him and see with him directly.
Take care.
Your friend, Michael.
Merci d'avance pour votre aide

Hi sherry48,
Merci pour la correction
A la place de "deception" c'est "engaged" non?
Pour vouloir dire que la ligne est occupée?

Bonjour Fabolous,
