Hello everybody,
I have to do a writing for Thursday and I would like to have theless fewer mistakes as possible.
Can you correct my mistakes (if there is any of course ) and explain the correction.
My writing is below.
Thanks a lot.
"The object of this writing is to explain which is our viewpoint about the following subject is: Do you think children are becoming far too dependent on computers and that this is having an alarming effect on reading and writing skills or not?
First, I think that children have much more ease in computer skills than old generation (by old generation, I think people who have more than 35 years old) because they are born with computers. I can tell you that because I see all day the difference between my parents in law and theirs children. They are only 9 and 15 years old and they often learn computer things to their parents. Moreover, in my opinion, it°s very important to give them maximum computer skills because it°s the future.
However, I think that children are too much on computer for things without interest today. In my opinion, INTERNET could be a very good tool to learn but it could also be wrong. For example, some websites about learning English or another language, explications about history are very good but you have to check information all the time. On the internet you can easily find wrong information and so I think it°s a danger for children because when they are too young, they don°t think to check information and they learn it. Children are often on internet to speak with their friends by Facebook, Twitter or a little bit older MSN Messenger and this is not good for them because they write with SMS language and make a lot of spelling mistakes.
To conclude, I would like to tell that I am rather for learning computer skills to children but people have to keep an eye on the using of internet of their children."
