Here is my work:
1- The way in which letters are formed. (n t r g t l) 3 lettering = lettrage.
2- A thick, hard outer layer or covering, especially the outer surface of cheese or bacon, or the peel of fruit.(n r d) 1 rind = pellicule de fromage.
3- To consult each other. (f c r n) 2 confer = se concerter.
4- A young ox raised to produced beef. ( t s r) 2 steer = boeuf castré.
5- A deep narrow valley. (v r n) 3 ravine = ravin.
6- A lazy person. (r d l) 2 idler = paresseux.
7- A deep opening between high rocks etc. (h m c s) 1 chasm = gouffre, abîme.
8- Old or out of fashion. (q d t t n) 5 antiquated = vieillot.
9- Any greasy substance rubbed on the skin to heal injuries etc. (m n t t n) 3 ointment = baume, pommade, crème.
