2- To take or use more often of / to keep or use longer than one ought to. (g h) 1 hog = monopoliser.
3- A long robe worn by clergymen and church choir-singers. (c s k c s) cassock = soutane.
4- Something that delays or prevents. (p t m d n m) 4 impediment = obstacle, trouble, défaut, entrave.
5- Showing effects of exposure to the weather. (h b w n t r t) 6 weather-beaten = battu par les éléments.
6- A synonym of "irritable". (d g) 2 edgy = nerveux.
7- Things, people etc arranged in some order. (r r) 3 array = collection, choix, éventail.
8- Lacking stiffness or strength; drooping. (m l p) 1 limp = mou, flasque.
9- An instrument for drawing and measuring angles. (t t p c r r r) 3 protractor = rapporteur.
10- A small tree with thorns and white or pink blossom. (w h r n h t) 2 hawthorn = aubépine.
