Bonjour
Je recherche un stage sur un semestre pour l'année prochaine dans le cadre de mes études. Voici ma lettre de motivation pour effectuer un stage dans une ONG qui travaille dans le domaine des politiques économiques environnementales (leur but principal est d'implanter une taxe environnementale de manière globale).
Merci d'avance à toutes les personnes qui voudront bien se pencher dessus pour m'aider à la corriger.
Dear Mr,Mrs,
I am currently a second-year student in Political Science, Economy and Law School in xxx, France. I am looking for a 16-weeks internship (at least) for my junior year from August to December 2015 in the field of international cooperation and environmental problems.
Involved in various community projects, I would like to pursue my studies with a Master’s Programme on the emerging issues in international relations. Upon graduating, I hope to work for an environmental non-governmental transnational organisation.
Having the opportunity to make an internship in your organisation would provide me with some relevant work experience. By working to introduce the Environmental tax reform globally, your organisation is a significant actor in the international cooperation process to prevent climate change.
As an activist in a french environmental association (“xxx”), I found it very important to warn citizens about climate change and the necessity to change our behaviours, and even more to strenghten international cooperation. Working towards a global economic environmental policy is an absolute priority.
Through my cross-sectionals studies, I have developed knowledge of Social Sciences, Economy, Law and History. My economic course has allowed me to learn more about market-based instruments for environmental policy.
I can work both on my own initiative and as part of a team. During my educational and associative career, I have been involved in several team projects, which has made me believe I have a flexible approach and I am able to deal with changes. I appreciate working with people from different nationalities and/or cultures.
I am also used to meet deadlines: I work fast and effectively.
Apart from having strong interpersonal skills, I speak French (mother tongue), and I understand and speak English and German.
Moreover, I am accustomed to using IT tools like Pack Word and Pack Office and social networks. Thanks to the essays I have to write every week, I have good writing and analysis skills.
