Find the missing vowels and unscramble the consonants in order to get the right word.

This week, the number of vowels is given in 3 out of 10 answers.

1- The border of a piece of clothing, folded over and sewn. ..... (mh)
2- A bridge-like part of a road etc which passes over another road, a railway etc. ..... (pvsrs) 3
3- A type of large bird which cannot fly. ..... (rhsct) 2
4- A large (luxurious) house. ..... (smnn)
5- A group of simple plants which includes seaweed. ..... (gl)
6- A small, usually round, window in a ship. ..... (hprlt)
7- To move the eyelids rapidly up and down. ..... (lkbn)
8- The leather straps by which a horse is attached to a cart etc which it is pulling and by means of which it is controlled. ..... (rshsn)
9- In pregnancy, the loss of the baby from the womb before it is able to survive. ..... (grmcrs) 5
10- A machine with sails that work by wind power, for grinding corn or pumping water. ..... (mlwlnd)

3- A type of large bird which cannot fly. ..... (rhsct) 2 :- Ostrich. - Autruche.
4- A large (luxurious) house. ..... (smnn) . - Mansion. - Manoir.
5- A group of simple plants which includes seaweed. ..... (gl) . - Algaes. - Algues.
6- A small, usually round, window in a ship. ..... (hprlt) . - Porthole. - Hublot.
7- To move the eyelids rapidly up and down. ..... (lkbn) .- Blink. - Cligner des yeux.
