I have two questions about The definite article.
1.
Days of the week.
Why "the" before week need in this sentence ? IS week GENERAL period?
I thought Days of week is right.
Plz tell me why.
2.
He has got a headache.
I thought headache is uncountable.
Why headache is need "A" before?

Hello everybody!
A proper way to say is : a terrible headache. It refers to each specific incidence, not a general condition like asthma. You can have singular or plural headache(s). So it's countable.

As I know,
Your former one: both are correct.
Days of the week: The days in a particular week.
Days of week: here, you didn't mention the particularity.
Your latter one: here, 'ache' is a countable noun. If today, you have a terrible headache, tomorrow, you have a sinus headache but, if you soak in rain you normally get a migratory headache due to cold, then doctor would say you are suffering from headaches.
