Bonjour ou bonsoir, (ça dépendra de l'heure à laquelle vous lirez ce message ), je propose cet exercice pas simple du tout. (Moi, j'en ai bavé, mais au moins ça m'a fait réviser. )
Mettez ces phrases au discours indirect :
1* Mike to Sarah : « I smoke too much. »
2* Marie to Roger : « They’ ll help us. »
3* Jack to Mike : « I forgot. »
4* Sarah told Jack : « Stop the car ! »
5* « Where do you live ? » He asked me.
6* « Who are the others ? » She asked him.
7* « I can swim » I said to her.
8* « You shouldn’t smoke » She said to me.
Bonne chance (vous en aurez besoin ) et à plus tard.
Sweet dreams, good morning ou good evening ( encore une fois cela dépendra de l'heure ) A vous de choisir.

1* Mike to Sarah : « I smoke too much. »
Mike told Sarah that he smoked too much.
2* Marie to Roger : « They’ ll help us. »
Marie told Roger that they would help us.
3* Jack to Mike : « I forgot. »
Jack told Mike that he had forgotten.
4* Sarah told Jack : « Stop the car ! »
Sarah told Jack to stop the car.
5* « Where do you live ? » He asked me.
He asked me where I lived.
6* « Who are the others ? » She asked him.
She asked me who were the others.
7* « I can swim » I said to her.
I said to her that I couldn't swim.
8* « You shouldn’t smoke » She said to me.
She said to me that I shouldn't smoke.

I'm eager to see how many mistakes I've made.

Jack told Mike he had forgotten.

Sarah told Jack to stop the car
5* « Where do you live ? » He asked me.
He asked me where I lived.
6* « Who are the others ? » She asked him.
She asked him who were the others .
7* « I can swim » I said to her.
I said to her I could swim.
8* « You shouldn’t smoke » She said to me.
She said to me I shouldn't smoke (that's a good advice )

Tu as raison, pas simple...
1 Mike said to Sarah he smoked too much./ he was smoking too much
de toute façon il devrait arrêter !
2 Mary said to Roger they will help them. Un gros doute sur cette phrase.
3 Jack told Mike he had forgotten.
4 Sarah told Jack to stop the car.
5 He asked to me where I lived.
6 She asked him who the others were.
7 I said to her I could swim.
8 She said to me I shouldn't smoke.

Merci pour votre exercice auquel j'ai obligé mon mari à participé et en a résulté beaucoup de discutions.

1 Sarah said to Mike that he smoked too much.
2 Roger said to Marie that we will be help by them.
3 Mike said to Jack that he had forgotten
4 Jack told Sarah that the car must by stop
5 He was asked my where I live
6 He was asked her who are the others?
7 ?
8 He is said to her that he shouldn't be smoke

* Dans les interrogations indirectes (' to ask' ici), le sujet ('the others') précède le verbe.
Ex: Discours direct : (de X à Mike): 'Where is she?
=>Discours indirect:
I asked him where she was

Coucou tout le monde,
je pars en vacances demain et je ne pourrais malheureusement vous donner la correction de cet exercice que dans une semaine. Je sais c'est un peu long, mais je pense que vous aurez la patience d'attendre.
Voili, voilou, je vous souhaite de bonnes vacances (pour ceux qui sont en vacances du moins).
Profitez bien du répit que vous accorde Moudounou car quand je reviendrais, ce sera blindé en exercice à poster sur le forum.

Oui Jardin !! tout le monde a fait la faute à la 6 ; corrigez vite avant que Moudounou ne revienne, vous avez le temps mais ...chut !!! c'est entre nous

Qui a fait une faute à la 6 en espérant que je ne m'en rende pas compte? Je pars en vacances aujourd'hui, mais à partir de 16h, alors j'ai encore un peu de temps pour vous embêtez.
Aller corrigez vite cette petite erreur et à très bientôt.

Bonjour à tous et à toutes, ça faisait longtime. Voici la correction, comme promis :
1) Mike said to Sarah that he smoked too much.
2) Marie said to Roger that they would help them.
3) Jack said to Mike that he had forgotten.
4) Sarah told him (Mike) to stop the car.
5) He asked me where I lived.
6) She asked him who the others were.
7) I told her I could swim.
8) She said (to me that) I shouldn’t smoke.
Les temps se transforment généralement de la même manière en anglais et en français.
DISCOURS DIRECT / DISCOURS INDIRECT
Présent / Prétérit
Futur (will) / Conditionnel (would)
Present perfect / Pluperfect (past perfect)
Prétérit / Pluperfect
Impératif / Infinitif
Can et may se transforment en could et might, les autres modaux ne changent pas.
Pour les interrogations, on emploiera ask.
