Pourquoi ne pas réviser le "Gérondif" ?
Rappel: Le Gérondif peut être sujet:"Skiing is dangerous", mais il peut être aussi complément:"I like skiing; enfin, il est souvent utilisé avec les verbes qui indiquent le début, la continuité ou la fin d'une action.
A/ Traduisez:
1/ Jouer au baseball est plus amusant que le regarder à la télévision.
2/ Nous détestons nager dans la mer.
3/ Il préfère lire un livre drôle.
4/ J'adore voir des films d'aventure.
5/ Tante Elizabeth a horreur de faire la cuisine.

B/ Comment diriez-vous...?
1/ Si on allait à la piscine demain?
2/ Arrête de pleurer !
3/ Si on allait faire une promenade dans le parc cet après-midi?
4/ Maman, continue de jouer au piano!
5/ Jenny, arrête de m'ennuyer avec tes chansons!

CORRECTION du test sur le Gérondif:
A/ Traduisez:
1/ Playing baseball is more amusing than watching it on television.(TV).
2/ We hate swimming in the sea.
(on double le "M" car le verbe finit par une voyelle suivie d'une seule consonne, idem pour "to begin" Etc...)
3/ He prefers readind a funny book.
("comic stip", mais, "funny book").
4/ I love watching adventure films.
5/ Aunt Elizabeth hates cooking.
("hates" rather than "dislikes" qui n'a pas un sens aussi fort).

B/ Comment diriez-vous...?
1/ What about going to the swimming-pool tomorow?
(on utilise le gérondif après l'expression:"what about").
2/ Please, stop crying!
(to cry=pleurer, c'est un faux-ami, crier=to shout).
3/ What about going for a walk in the park this afternoon?
4/ Mum, go on playing the piano.
5/ Jenny, stop annoying me with your songs!
(, On appelle "le gérondif" la base verbale + ING; ne pas, pour autant confondre le gérondif avec le "present continuous")
(On emploie le gérondif après les verbes comme "to love, to like, to hate, to hear, to prefer Etc...)
(On utilise le gérondif après l'expression:"What about"="que dirais-tu si..)
(On emploi le gérondif après les verbes comme "to start, to go on, to stop/to end, comme je l'avais écrit dans l'énoncé des questions, dans ce cas, le gérondif a valeur plus "d'impératif déguisé" d'où l'abscence du "S" de la 3ème/pers/sing).

Coucou, voilà il m'arrive la même chose qu'hier soir! Impossible de dormir la nuit à cause du décallage horaire alors je viens faire des exercices ici!
