Hello,
I am looking for a position in the UK, but I don't know if my enclosed CV is correct or not. I would be grateful if you could help me to correct the mistakes.
Thank you very much for your time and your help!

Hello...

Apart from a few minor errors I can't find anything wrong with the grammar of your letter. But I think you should try to make your personal qualities and the skills you have acquired a lot more prominent, by detailing them in a separate "cover" letter to accompany the CV. The cover letter and the CV would then complement each other. At present the information about skills acquired is almost buried in the information you provide about the jobs you have done. In the cover letter you should say "I am highly motivated and adaptable with excellent skills and experience" etc, and then go on to list your skills in detail. You need to emphasise them a lot more than you have done.
----------------------------------------
"an international mobility"

"...designing various type (pluriel)"
-----------------------------------------

Cordialement...

Thank you very much for your quick response and your advice!

I corrected "international mobility" by removing the "an" (uncountable I guess ...) added the "s" to "type", and replaced "z" by "s" in specialized for instance(I've heard "z" was american an "s" british...).
I also removed "skills gained" of my CV by following your advice and then modified my cover letter.

Could you give me your opinion on the letter below? (I feel that I am asking a lot...)

Thank you very much!

Dear Mr. X,

Your client is looking for an ambitious and experienced Structural Engineer for his office in London. I belive that I am the right person for this position.

I hold a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Degree specialised in Structural Design, obtained in French top engineering schools.

During my curriculum, I used to perform structural design and analysis calculations on many projects, including buildings and bridges. With 4 years of practise, I gained a solid knowledge of the Eurocodes, and good skills in CAD and FEM softwares like AutoCAD or ROBOT.

Moreover, through the course in apprenticeship in my engineering school (INSA of Toulouse), I got a 3 years experience in a construction company. The practice of several trades as an estimator and as a junior site manager, enhanced my interpersonnal and organisational skills, as well as my ability to work under pressure. It also led me to work with different stakeholders, that allows me today to consider a project in its entirety, therefore adapt my engineer work to the field reality.

Very motivated to collaborate as a structural engineer on challenging projects, I feel that my teamwork skills and my experience with the new standards will be an asset for your client’s agency.

For more details please find my CV attached and of course, I will be glad to answer any questions that you might have. I can be contacted on my mobile phone at xxx or by email at xxxx

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

S.
